Successful for the perpetrators, but not for the rest of the city. As also to see at my timeline today, for complete Libya a loss. The loss, the grief, the outrage is again great. Especially because this time a very young man (18) was killed. A young man that was active as demonstrator and debater. That was his act always and only, demonstrate and speak for democracy and peace.
The inability of many can be found in my timeline. Not only mine, but as I see well back also from many others. I see sadness, anger, hopelessness and sadness come over again. Only addition, I also see other things. I see unity. A unit of sorrow, but also wishes. A unit in a joint protest and question why a young man that against violence is comes in this way to the end of his life.
I also see clearly who and what Libya really is. An incredibly peaceful country. A country that wants to build democracy. Thereby offering space to each who is living in the country. A country that is tired, but at the same time also wants to keep fighting for their February 17 goals. Democracy, equality and human rights. Later there were also added more specific goals.
