Extra: Detention and deportation from Libya (2017 and 2020)
From May 26 till June 12 2017 I spend my time in Libyan detention centre (Mtiga Tripoli)
The men (police Jazeer Madar) who I met earlier in the evening wanted to check my papers and make even a three double check and asked support from the men of Rada. With similar experience of this in the Netherlands with Libyan men in Europe/Netherlands I was only happy to see how careful the men were working. Including working together. It also give me a great experience to see how the men in the detention are working, working very hard and are have a huge desire to learn and change. Unfortunately I also heard bad experience from some women, only during my time I only had many support, many help from the Sheikh’s, the women and the police men.

After a while (I asked them not to involve, but they refused) the embassy of the Netherlands came. Despite my request not to communicate outside I saw many media talking/writing about me. I was afraid for wrong and assumed communication. All what indeed happen. I was never kidnapped, the men actually did a good job as they were checking papers for security reason. It took a long time, mostly by the interfere of the Embassy of the Netherlands. My work is related to human resource, education by awareness. For sure I am not a journalist and is Al Eureka a real organisation and not a cover. I promised my family and friends never to go to a dangerous place. Something I never did. I never went and will never go to fighting areas. As believer of the good, but also prefer things by myself I almost make never a photo or video and for sure not from a fight or other negative things. I prefer to share the good.
I indeed learn, observe a lot. All for a better understanding and improving the work of helping people by understanding them. I dare to trust, see the good and work to the challenge of improving and changing the negative. Strength the good, use the good, talk about the good. Gives not only joy, but also improve the opportunity to build trust.
